Community is important. In fact, I would even venture to say that without it we would wither away. God intended for us to live in community. He commanded us to live in community. So, it has always been important to me to try to use this site to build community.

And there are great online Christian communities out there. For example, I have been a member of High Calling Blogs for a while now, and have really enjoyed being a part of that community. However, that is more or less a community of bloggers, and I know that there are lots of people that do not blog, but still long for good, faith-based community online.

This is why I am taking the best of BibleDude.net to Facebook, the best in social networking! BibleDude.net is now also a group on Facebook where believers can come to encourage one another, worship together, pray for each other, and discuss how we can have the greatest impact on the world around us.

I will be feeding the group with all of the best content that you find here on this site, but I anticipate that the Facebook group will become a place that truly enhances the community aspect of our walk with the Lord.
