I love it when the Scriptures make sense when brought into their proper context!<br><br>I think that the biggest thing for me that you mention here is the call that comes from understanding that the workers are few. But more importantly, not JUST because there is little interest, but in that there are fewer people 'qualified ... to run the equipment'! This gives me a great heart and drive to serve through the Bible College that I teach with! There is so much work that needs to be done, and that means that more workers need to be trained.<br><br>As I write this, I am actually preparing to take my Evangelism Ministry class out to do some street witnessing as a part of their 'evangelism lab' portion of the class. I love Margaret's storytelling, and how it draws the reader in. <br><br>I don’t think in all my Christian years have I ever fully grasped some of the deep truths in scripture about the farmer as I have after reading this book. I was telling Dan last night how it is such a weird feeling to have always felt like you’ve had a pretty good understanding of the scripture and character of Christ and then one day find out how much you’ve been missing. It is one of the most awkward, humbling, and beckoning feelings. These pages have left me longing to go on a deeper conquest to truly know my Maker, and the God of the harvest!<br><br>Great post Laura!!! WOW, what a picture!!!
