    Aaron… This was a reader-submitted piece for a project that we did for creative writing on the topic of compassion. So I can’t really speak to the intent of the person who wrote it.

    Regarding The High Calling… Yes, it it based on Christian principles. I serve there as their Social Media Editor, but long before that I’ve found it to be a place where I’ve been able to build great connections with other Christian, many whom I’ve met in real life since.
