A while back I wrote a post about “getting uncomfortable.” The Young Adults Ministry that I lead had just gotten done putting together a conference-style event based on the Get Uncomfortable study by Todd Phillips. At that time I really felt like God had rocked my world, as well as several others in our group. Since then, we have all been on a mission to impact the world around us more, and it has been an amazing ride!

So I want to share the hearts of the people in our group from this study that we’ve done. It was an amazing experience, and the series starts with a lesson that I had the pleasure of teaching. This first session simply sets the stage for the rest of the study, and speaks to the importance of getting active with our faith. Check out the video of this lesson in the study now…

  1. If you had to rate yourself on a sliding scale with “Personal Development” on one end, and “Social Action” on the other side, where would you say that you currently are?
    Personal Development vs Social Action

  2. On the same scale, where do you think that you should be at right now? Where would God say that you should be?
